Step 1: Choose Your Program

We offer a range of programs tailored to your needs and goals: 

  • Thai for Foreigners Program (3, 6, 9, or 12 months)
  • English Language Program (3, 6, 9, or 12 months)

Step 2: Gather Required Documents

To ensure a smooth enrollment process, prepare the following documents:

1) Completed NS Enrollment Form
2) High-quality scanned copy of your passport
3) Digital half-body portrait with a white background
4) Proof of deposit (equivalent to the first 3 months’ program fees)

Having these documents ready will help expedite your application process.

Step 3: Submit Your Application

Email your completed enrollment form and required documents to study@newstamford.com. Our dedicated team will review your application and contact you if any additional information is needed.

Step 4: Receive Acceptance Letter

Upon successful review of your application, we will provide you with an acceptance letter, confirming your eligibility to join our program.

Step 5: Obtain MoE Approval

We will initiate the process of acquiring your approval letter from the Ministry of Education (MoE), which is essential for your education visa application. This process typically takes 1-2 weeks, and we will keep you informed of the progress.

Step 6: Apply for Your Education Visa

  • If applying from abroad, use your MoE approval letter to apply for an education visa (Non-Immigrant ED) at a Thai embassy or consulate of your choice.
  •  If applying within Thailand, visit our school in person to complete the visa conversion process. We will guide you through the necessary steps and timeline.

Step 7: Report to our school and Begin Your Journey​

Once your visa is approved, report to our school, and immerse yourself in an enriching language learning experience. Our experienced teachers and supportive staff are here to guide you every step of the way.

How to Apply for an Education Visa with New Stamford

Payment Terms

At New Stamford, we require a deposit of the first 3 months' program fees to initiate the visa paperwork process. The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Thailand or within 7 days of receiving the Ministry of Education (MoE) approval. Refunds for visa refusal will be granted after deducting 6,500 baht, with proof of official refusal. Cancellations without proof of visa refusal are not entitled to a refund.

Required Documents

To apply for an education visa, submit a completed enrollment form, a scanned copy of your passport, a digital half-body portrait, and proof of deposit. Additional documents may be required depending on whether you're applying from abroad or within Thailand. Our team will review your application and provide an acceptance letter upon approval. The Ministry of Education approval letter will then be processed.
