Tourist Visa (TR)

This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for the following purposes:

• Tourism
• Short visit to family living in Thailand.
• Medical treatment with registered hospitals.
• Participants of Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions.

Period of Stay: Upon arrival, travellers with this type of visa will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 60 days.

Extension of Stay: Travellers may apply for an extension of stay at the Office of the Immigration Bureau, and may be granted an extension for a period not exceeding 30 days.

 Note:

✅ May be permitted to stay for a period not exceeding 60 days.

✅ May be able to extend for another 30 days.

✅ May be able to change to other certain types of visas.
