Passport holders of the countries listed for visa exemption are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days on each visit.
Travellers who enter Thailand under this Visa Exemption category may only do so for 30 days at one time, with a maximum of 3 times in a 6-month period by flight and 2 times a year for overland crossing.
Extension of Stay: Travellers may apply for an extension of stay at the Office of the Immigration Bureau, and may be granted an extension for a period not exceeding 30 days.
From 1 October 2022 to 31 March 2023, the period of stay for tourist visa exemption scheme is extended from 30 to 45 days. In addition, the period of stay for bilateral agreements on visa exemption are extended from 14 and 30 days to 45 days.
Note:
✅ May be permitted to stay for a period not exceeding 30 days.
✅ May be able to extend for another 30 days.
✅ May be able to change to other certain types of visas.
