  • Photocopies of relevant passport pages, including:
    • Personal information page
    • Any amendments to personal data (if applicable)

Where can I apply for a re-entry permit?

Applying for a Re-Entry Permit in Thailand can be done in two ways: either at an Immigration Office in any province before your intended trip or at an international airport on the day of your trip. However, if you plan to get your re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi or Don Muaeng airport, it is advisable to arrive early to allow enough time for processing. It is important to note that the application papers are usually queued in batches instead of being processed immediately.

For those who plan to apply for the Re-Entry Permit at Suvarnabhumi airport, head to the 4th floor, Zone 2, and look for the Re-Entry Service at Passport Control. The Re-Entry Permit service is available 24/7 at both Suvarnabhumi and Don Muaeng airports. It is important to keep in mind that getting the re-entry permit at the airport requires you to be leaving on the same day.

What are the steps to obtain a re-entry permit in Thailand?

To obtain a re-entry permit in Thailand, you can follow these steps:

  1. Gather Required Documents: You will need your passport, a copy of your passport, your departure card, a completed re-entry permit application form, and the fee for the re-entry permit.

The re-entry permit will be a stamp on your passport or a separate document, depending on where you applied for it. Advice from New Stamford School:

All education visa from our school will be valid for 90 days so if you do not plan to travel often within 90 days, we advise to apply for a single-entry re-entry permit cost 1000 baht. It’s important to note that you must return to Thailand before your visa expires in order to apply for a new visa extension. Failure to return to Thailand before the visa expires will result in the termination of your visa and automatic withdrawal from the school, with no refund of your tuition fee.
